Camp Ta-Kum-Ta
TDV members are needed to help Camp Ta-Kum-Ta get ready for the kids! For more than two decades Camp Ta-Kum-Ta has provided a safe, loving place where children from Vermont and New York who have, or have had cancer can play, swim, share, and heal. In short, Camp T-K-T is where kids go to reclaim a childhood robbed by cancer. There are only about 4 weeks left until it opens and there are many projects left to complete as well as a general clean-up. If you are interested in pitching in to help a great cause as well as get a “sneak peek” at where TDV’s Annual Member Picnic will be held in October, please contact Ted Kessler, Founder & Executive Director of Camp TKT, by cell phone at 917-4441. Shelburne Museum Goes to the Dogs
Please join us Sunday Sept 12th, from 10am to 4pm at Shelburne Museum Goes to the Dogs. Our TDV booth promises to be fun filled, with pre-testing, a spin the wheel for a prize game, and therapy dog apparel for sale. Stop by and say Hello,and meet the TDV officer team. Milton Community Activities Fair 2010
Milton Elementary School - Tuesday September 14th, 6-8pm
Iron dog - VT Police Association
Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Camp Dudley at Kiniya. This event is in support of our friends at the Police Canine Association. There will be more info to come on how to register for this event. This event is an obstacle course that police and civilians and their canines compete in. This event is fun for you and your dog! Please consider even coming to watch and support those folks and dogs “running.” Holland and I competed last year and it was so much fun. Please remember these police officers and their K-9’s protect and serve our communities on a daily basis. You support is paramount to them and TDV! Green Mountain Pug Social
