Six week classes for puppies 8 weeks to 5 months of age

Taught by TDV’s own experienced therapy dog testers and evaluators - instructors with experience and expertise working with therapy dogs as well as teaching and training expertise. Our instructors strive to make classes fun, productive, and focused on the success of every puppy and handler no matter their skill level or experience

Build your dog's social skills with people and other dogs, get careful and positive exposure to a wide variety of new experiences, and learn how to work with your puppy on obedience and manners.

Our instructors Deb and Christy were exceptional. They were always very caring and enthusiastic in the way they taught the class...Every dog and owner were unique in some way and they were able to adapt their lesson plan to meet everyone’s needs. As we progressed through the school Cody’s exposure to elderly people in wheel chairs, children wanting to play with him, someone walking around on crutches, someone wanting to take his picture, other people besides Marcia and I handling him have all helped Cody develop into a very calm controllable dog...I highly recommend the Puppy Prep School to anyone looking for some good puppy training.

My puppy and I both loved the class taught by TDV! My puppy learned the basics of obedience training, but more importantly he experienced lots of new things. 
There was the man in the wheel chair, the lady with crutches, the people in funny masks, the policeman, and the fireman in full garb. The staff to dog ratio was amazing. These teachers really care. I've taken other puppy classes over the years, and non could begin to compare to this class.

Class Information


Classes are given in various locations throughout the year and range from $100-$130 for a six-week class

All graduates participate in a fun-filled graduation ceremony, and receive a color certificate with your pup’s photo on it, along with a puppy gift basket
